Highlands Freshman Selected for U.S. Army All-American Bowl Combine

Highlands freshman, Cameron Hergott, was invited to the U.S. Army All-American Football Combine in San Antonio, Texas.

Last year at the combine, there were only 14 freshmen athletes were invited out of 600 attendees nationwide.

The Nations's top underclassmen will compete against one another amongth high school and college football's top scouting organizations and analysts.   There will be seminars held by both football coaches and Army personnel to discuss future opportunities after high school.

Prominent National Combine alumni include Cam Newton (Carolina Panthers), DeMarco Murray (Tennessee Titans), Patrick Peterson (Arizona Cardinals), Matt Stafford (Detroit Lions), Sharif Floyd (Minnesota Vikings) and Sam Darnold (USC).

Hergott's invitation to the combine means that Highlands name and location will be published in the itinerary and visible for all of the staff present at the combine.

This year, junior Grady Cramer, split time at quarterback for the Bluebirds.
