NEW THIS YEAR, JANUARY-ONLY DISCOUNT:  Register and pay in January and pay a reduced rate of only $125.00.

We will be adding a 1st and 2nd grade division this year.

We intend to focus heavily at this level on the very basic fundamentals of football with a heavy emphasis on player safety. Register your child to be part of the first ever all 1st & 2nd Grade Division.  These games are played on half of the field and are very short games.  This truly is a safe and enjoyable way to get your kids introduced to the game of football.

We are going to have our 7th & 8th graders play in the Norseman Conference this year.  This conference is made up of 7th & 8th Grade teams from Ryle, Conner, Cooper, Boone County, and Lexington Catholic.   This conference brings many new and exciting things to our league and will allow our players to compete with other teams from across the Tri – State.  We will also be participating in some 7 vs 7 games at this level.  The opportunities are endless with this new league and we are really excited about this new opportunity.

We have realigned our grade divisions so we can compete fairly with other teams from outside our league.  We will now have a 1st and 2nd Grade team, a 4-team 3rd-4th grade division, a 4-team 5th-6th grade division, two 7th grade teams, and two 8th grade teams. It is our plan to continue to play a limited number of games with teams outside of the FTJFL for the lower grades.  Everyone seemed to enjoy those games and now we can be assured that we will be playing against the same age group.  This has proven to not only be more exciting to play others teams outside of Fort Thomas but it has also given our players a chance to play against some high-quality teams within Northern Kentucky.  We have been very competitive in these games and give our players the confidence they need to continue on playing at a very high level.

Our league is approaching its 60th year of providing the children of our communities a safe and competitive atmosphere to play football. This experience is further enhanced with an increase in the number of children competing in our league. If you are aware of anyone who either do not play football or who plays in another league, please reach out to them about registering in the FTJFL this upcoming year.

We look forward to seeing everyone on the gridiron in the near future.
