Ted Bundy Movie Starring Zac Efron to Film in Greater Cincinnati, Scouting Fort Thomas

Co-star Lily Collins will play Bundy's girlfriend

The first big picture to shoot in Cincinnati this year will be a thriller based on the life of a notorious serial killer.

The movie is called "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile."

According to variety.com, it’s a biopic about Ted Bundy told from the viewpoint of the woman he dated during his murder spree, Elizabeth Kloepfer.

Located at Newport Pavilion.

According to the Internet Movie Database, Bundy will be played by Zac Efron, who recently starred in “The Greatest Showman” and is widely known for his role in the “High School Musical” films.

Kloepfer will be played by Lily Collins, who recently starred in “To the Bone.”

D. Lynn Meyers Casting, based in Cincinnati, recently put out a casting call for a pair of identical twin toddlers. The shoot involving the toddlers is slated for late January.

Sources tell Fort Thomas Matters that the crew was in Fort Thomas before Christmas scouting locations, stopping by a favorite local lunch spot to talk with residents and businesses.

Greater Cincinnati has had its share of movies to film recently, and Fort Thomas is no exception. A rare white-picket fence was a reason that a house on Elsmar Avenue became a focal point for the movie Haunt, which was filmed in Fort Thomas in November.
