Police Believe Suspect Who Led Them on Chase, Attempted Break-In Near Camp Springs

A suspect who stole a semi truck and, according to police, deliberately struck multiple police cruisers and civilian vehicles during the pursuit, is still on the loose in Campbell County.

The suspect is described as a white man with blondish-hair, wearing an orange shirt and jeans. After the crash he was last seen jumping down a steep ravine into the woods along U.S. 27 near Low Gap Road.

Campbell County Police reported that at about 2:30 p.m., a subject was attempting to break into a house on Four Mile Road near Camp Springs.

This subject was described similarly as the semi truck driver. The subject fled on foot again and was not located.
