David J Guidugli: Why I'm Running for County Commissioner (District 1)

By David J. Guidugli

Dear Fellow Campbell Countians:

I am asking for your vote on November 6, 2018. I want to serve the people of Campbell County to come together in a positive way to better the County.

A little about me:

I am a life-long Campbell County resident growing up in Newport, Kentucky.

I went to grade school at St. Stephens, Newport Catholic High School, University of Kentucky, University of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Rank 1 in educational leadership at NKU. I have an extensive education background. I taught in public schools totaling 35 years at Newport, Boone County, and Covington Holmes. I also served as the Special Olympics Coordinator. I coached football, track, and wrestling and am still running my Strength Speed Camp ever summer for boys and girls 8-17.

I have trained athletes from Hall-of-Famers to small kids with bright futures. I love people and most people love me. I am a positive influence on peoples’ lives. I like to help people become successful and become the best version of themselves. Personally, I’ve been successful in boxing, football and being a champion in both sports. I know what it takes to win. If you vote for me, you will be voting for a winner. I have been an impact person all my life. I am currently with the Cincinnati Bearcat players to develop toughness. I am proud of my jail ministry at the Kenton County Jail, helping the addicts get clean with the help of Jailer, Terry Carl, and Will Pferemann and the Creator. The 12-Step Program is implemented at the Kenton County Jail.

Some new organizations I belong: Sons of Italy, Cincinnati Semi-Pro Hall of Fame, Kentucky Hall of Fame, Member of the OTR Board, and mentoring programs for youth.

I am sharing with you a quote from my lifelong friend, Dave Cowens:

“Dave Guidugli is an honest, straightforward-thinking and acting man. He is a man of his word and feels compelled to serve the community where he has lived and worked his entire life. He will be a difference-maker and will address the peoples’ issues in a positive and deliberate manner. I can’t think of a more independent person than Dave Guidugli. If the hardworking citizens of Campbell County want a real change in the way they’re represented, VOTE FOR DAVE GUIDUGLI!”

Additionally, I am proud of my four boys, Gino, Bay, Ben and Tony. They are all successful and have helped carry on the Guidugli name by blessing me with 13 grandchildren: George, Ezra, Leo, Louise, Dolly, Birdie, Petey Red, Benjamin, Bella, Beau, Brooke, Barnabus, Bethany and two more on the way.

Vote for a man whose family has been in Campbell County since immigrating from Italy in 1908.

In summary, I intend to move the County forward when it comes to lowering taxes, fixing the roads, dealing with the addiction problem, disciplining in schools, building stronger families, and developing more spirituality. We need to develop toughness in spirituality.
