Lightning Believed to Have Caused House Fire in Cold Spring


A house in Cold Spring is damaged by a fire believed to have been started by a lightning strike.
Firefighters were called to the home in the 5800 block of Granite Spring Drive just before 7 a.m.

Although heavy smoke was coming from the house, no one was hurt according to Campbell County Dispatch.


Granite Spring was established in 2004 by Fischer Homes. The community consists of single-family, patio, and condominium homes. The entrance to the community is from US 27 on Alexandria Pike near Cracker Barrel.
