Netflix has agreed to purchase U.S. and international rights to “Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile,” the biopic about serial killer Ted Bundy starring Zac Efron that was filmed in the region.

Netflix is expected to make the film available in the fall ahead of awards season.
“Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile” tells the story of Ted Bundy, who confessed to 30 murders in the 1970s. The movie stars Efron as Bundy and also features Lily Collins, John Malkovich and Jim Parsons. It was shot at several locations in Fort Thomas and around Greater Cincinnati.
The movie filmed on Woodside Place and First Baptist Church in Fort Thomas.
Corey Kramer a Cold Spring native and Bishop Brossart High School alum, was Efron's body double.
