Andrew McMahon is the event's headliner.
McMahon, who was in the bands Something Corporate and main songwriter for Jack's Mannequin, was diagnosed himself with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on June 1, 2005.
In July 2006, McMahon founded a non-profit charity, entitled The Dear Jack Foundation, to raise funds for cancer research. To date the Dear Jack Foundation has raised a half a million dollars for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Joining him on the stage that day will be Tone Yard, River City, The Band of Helping Hands, The Powell Brothers and Borderline.
The concert, a free event, will be held on September 28 from 1:00 to midnight at Tower Park in Fort Thomas. Food, drink, shopping and a kids zone will be available.
