A fire started under the hood of the vehicle and the Fort Thomas Fire Department were on scene quickly to contain it.

Police Chief Mark Bailey said the exact cause is unknown at this point, but no one was hurt.

The fire department is located at 130 N. Fort Thomas Avenue and the fire was located a block away at 22 N. Fort Thomas Avenue so the response time was almost immediate.

A tow company was on scene quickly as well to take the vehicle away. The hood of the SUV was peeled back in order to extinguish the flames.
