Herald Family Dentistry celebrates 10 years with an Open House for their new location

By Jessica Eden

Herald Family Dentistry is celebrating 10 years of taking care of smiles with a grand re-opening at their new location and an open house on Wednesday, Jun. 19. The event will feature gourmet hot dogs from “It’s Just Bricks”, wine, a bounce house and giveaways. The event is free and open to the public.

Herald Family Dentistry recently moved from Southgate to a bigger and better space in Fort Thomas.

"We have moved to a more convenient location that has parking closer to the building,” said Dr. Joe Herald. “The first floor location gives patients extremely easy access into and out of the office.”

There is also a larger, more comfortable reception area.

The newly renovated office, located at 725 Alexandria Pike in Suite 100, features more rooms, two surgical suites and new equipment. “We have digital x rays, but we also have a cone beam. This gives us the ability to see a 3-D image of teeth and jaws,” said Dr. Herald. “We use it to assist with wisdom tooth extractions and implant procedures. It allows more predictable results and provides better diagnostics.”

Herald Family Dentistry also offers implants and sedation. They also offer electric handpieces to minimize sound.

Relocating the practice to Fort Thomas was a no-brainer since many of the staff members at Herald Family Dentistry grew up in Fort Thomas and most attended Highlands High School. “One dentist, two hygienists, the office manager and an assistant all graduated from there. The other dentist grew up in Fort Thomas as well, and went to NCC.”
