Police, SWAT Execute Search, Arrest Three at Fort Thomas Apartment Complex

Fort Thomas Police, in conjunction with the Kenton County Regional SWAT charged three people after executing a search warrant at Royal Cove Apartments near Waterworks Road on June 10 just before 6:00 a.m.

Justin Andrew Cahill, 32, of Fort Thomas, Geoffrey William Eugene Routzon, 33, of  Newport, and Kristina Marie Vickers, 39, of Fort Thomas were all charged with the following:  Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, (Methamphetamine), Class D Felony, and Drug Paraphernalia-Buy/Possess.

Police say a search warrant was granted after police say they had knowledge that Cahill was in possession of a firearm, which as a convicted felon, is against the law.

Upon executing the warrant, police found narcotics in the apartment.

Lt. Brent Moening of Fort Thomas Police, said that there are additional investigations being conducted.

Cahill has an extensive arrest record dating back to 2005. Police say that they do not believe he's lived in the area long.

Routzon also had a felony arrest warrant out of Kenton County Circuit Court of Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, (drug unspecified).  A class D felony in the Commonwealth of Kentucky punishable by one to five years in prison. A fine of between $1,000 and $10,000 applies to all felonies in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Cahill and Routzon are being held on a $1500 and $3500 cash bond  in the Campbell County Detention Center.  Vickers was issued a citation to appear in Campbell District Court.
