Hazard identification, assessment and approaches to reducing risk for hillside slippage and landslides will be the focus of an upcoming informational talk hosted by the Campbell County Conservation District.
Area property owners and residents are invited to the talk by engineering geologist Matt Crawford on Thursday, August 29. The event will be held from 6 to 7pm at the Campbell County Cooperative Extension office, 3500 Alexandria Pike in Highland Heights.
The Kentucky Geological Survey is a state-supported research center devoted to conducting research and providing information about geological resources, environmental issues and natural hazards in Kentucky.
