Village Players of Fort Thomas Closes Out Arcadia This Weekend
Village Players of Fort Thomas closes Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia with its final three performances October 10-12, each at 8:00 pm. All performances will be staged in Village Players’ intimate theater on the bottom level of the building the organization inherited last year from the Fort Thomas Woman’s Club at 8 N Fort Thomas Ave.
This brilliant play moves smoothly between 1809 and the present at the elegant estate owned by the Coverly family and explores the nature of truth and time, the difference between classical and romantic temperaments, and the disruptive influence of sex on our life orbits—the attraction Newton left out.
Arcadia is directed by Jef Brown and features the talents of twelve local actors: Jeannine Aliee, Jef brown, Oliver Kai Davis, Wayne Kirsch, Josh Roden, Gretchen Schultz, BJ Simpson, Stephen Stricker, Alexander Walz, Bryce Willson, Aubrey Wilson, and Ashley Wuerdeman.
