Fort Thomas Chiropractic Practice Expands, Welcomes Dr. Philip Ryan

New doctor joins the Dr. Henderson and Dr. Krift's practice -- Welcome Dr. Ryan!

By Jessie Eden

A Fort Thomas chiropractic practice is celebrating its expansion.

After practicing in the Fort Thomas community for decades, Dr. Terry Henderson and Dr. Douglas Krift are expanding and adding Northern Kentucky native Dr. Philip Ryan IV to their team. Dr. Ryan recently graduated as a licensed chiropractor from National University of Health Sciences in August 2019 and joined the office at the beginning of September.

Dr. Ryan, who grew up in Park Hills, is excited to be back in Northern Kentucky. "I feel so blessed and fortunate to be a part of this incredible team,” said Dr. Ryan. “I'm grateful for the doctors and staff here as well as the Fort Thomas community for their warm welcome back home."

The office, located across the street from Woodfill Elementary School, offers a wide variety of therapies including manual and instrument-assisted adjustments, cold laser light therapy, supplementation, neuro emotional testing, and kinesiotaping.

“We are extremely happy to welcome Dr. Ryan to our office. We have 4 massage therapists on staff as well, and recently added digital x-ray capabilities,” said Dr. Krift. “Specific nutritional supplements and low level laser therapy are also offered.”

These complementary methods provide a means of holistically treating the root cause of dysfunction and disease. In addition to adjusting, chiropractors using Neuro Emotional Testing, can tap into the emotions that the body is harboring and aid it in stress reduction, which results in healing and peace of mind.

The doctors may also use Kinesiotape to help support the muscles and joints by facilitating movement and decreasing pain and swelling. Cold laser light therapy promotes healing in specific areas where pain may be occurring. Supplementation and nutrition can help decrease inflammation in the body.

In addition to the doctors, the office has four licensed massage therapists on staff who specialize in deep tissue and hot stone massage, Reiki, cranial sacral therapy, lymphatic massage, and reflexology.

This team of doctors and massage therapists is passionate about giving the body the tools necessary to not only dampen symptoms, but to make positive changes in movement patterns in the future.
