It's a hard time for everyone. The kids are bored, the parents are stressed, the pets are...well, frankly, they're a little annoyed that you have all been around so much when they could be napping all day.
So, what is there to do? Time to get creative.
We have taken the time to compile some of the most creative, fun and cheap activities we could find on the internet because we know that some parents may be struggling to keep their little ones busy.
Check out this long list of activities to keep your kiddos amused.
1) MAKE A MOSAIC ON YOUR FENCE:
Create your own design on a fence with painters tape. Then, have your child use chalk to color it in. Remove the tape to unveil your masterpiece! It is sure to brighten up your yard.

2) MAKE SOME TISSUE PAPER FLOWERS FOR SPRING:
This colorful project is sure to make you smile. It's easy to do and each flower comes out differently. You can even use a green pipe cleaner as the stem and make a bouquet.
3) GET CREATIVE WITH 30 ACTIVITIES WITH HOUSEHOLD ITEMS:
From painting 'nails' to building a ball obstacle course out of paper towel rolls, this link has over 30 creative ways to craft with straws, cardboard and more.
4) SEND THEM ON A SCAVENGER HUNT:
This idea is great because you can do it indoors or outdoors. This is especially useful when the weather isn't cooperating.
5) TURN YOUR WINDOW INTO A STAINED GLASS PIECE:
It's important to note with this one, you need to use washable paint. Use painters tape to make a design, then let your little one go to town with all the colors of the rainbow.
6) COLOR THESE AMAZING DISNEY 'EASTER EGGS':
With Easter right around the corner, you may be wondering how to make the holiday special for your little ones. Have them decorate these free easter egg-shaped drawings to add some joy and color to your home for Easter.

7) MAKE PUFFY PAINT SIDEWALK CHALK:
Chalk is fun but you know what is even more fun? Puffy paint chalk. This simple recipe mixes flour, water, dish soap and food coloring to create vibrant colors and hours of fun.
8) MAKE AN 'UNDER THE SEA' SENSORY BIN
You may be asking... what is a sensory bin. Sensory bins allow children to explore, discover, imagine, create, and learn while engaging their senses. This example uses an 'under the sea' theme but there are many different kinds and it's very easy to put together.
