Fort Thomas Dad Featured on Good Morning America for Creative Costumes During Homeschooling Efforts

By Jessie Eden

One Fort Thomas resident is getting VERY creative when it comes to his kid's home schooling.

When Fort Thomas Independent Schools chose to close, Matt Nestheide decided he would dress up for each home school lesson to entertain his three little girls, ages 3 to 8.

His outfits include a suit as a 'teacher', a gym teacher, Bob Ross as an art teacher and many more.

Last week, his creativity even caught the eye of Good Morning America and he received some national recognition for it and was interviewed on air.

During the interview, Matt said that, at the end of the day, they're all just trying to make the best of it. "I hope my kids understand, you know, that this is definitely a tough time and there are some serious conversations we're having with them about this whole situation but I hope they're seeing that, despite these circumstances, we can chose our attitude. We can choose to have fun, we can choose to laugh and bring joy, no matter what the circumstances are."

So, which costume who has been the girls' favorite? They didn't know who he was, but they LOVED their Dad's Bob Ross impression.
