One thing is for sure — the coronavirus is certainly shaking things up for everyone.
As I walked through the Midway District on Friday, I saw *some* people out and about...but we need to remember that, during this difficult time, we also need to show some love to our local businesses.
So, here are a few reminders of how awesome of our town is. Don’t forget to support these Midway businesses and all other Fort Thomas businesses during this crazy time.
1) CURBSIDE DELIVERY FROM BLUE MARBLE BOOKS
Maybe you need a book or two to keep your little one busy. Blue Marble books is offering curbside delivery so swing by!

2) DON’T FORGET ABOUT THE BEST WINGS EVER FROM MIDWAY
Delicious smoked wings from Midway Cafe. Don’t you hear that Carolina Gold sauce calling your name? YUM.

3) STRESSED? GRAB A DRINK AT THE PUB
The Fort Thomas Pub has seen a lot over the last few decades...and let’s be honest, we could all use a drink at this point.
4) GET SOME COOKIES AT THE COOKIE SHOP
The Cookie Shop, located down the alley right before Fort Thomas Pub, has plenty of parking and all your sweet tooth needs.
4) UNWIND WITH BREAKFAST AT FORT THOMAS PIZZA
Ft. Thomas Pizza obviously has pizza for those who don’t like breakfast...but who doesn’t like breakfast?!

5) GET YOUR ESSENTIALS AT SOUTH SIDE DELI...AND MAYBE A PIZZA FROM SNAPPY
Two little neighborhood shops right next to each other. Grab some essentials from South Side and then head to Snappy and pick up a pizza. One stop shop!

6) DON’T FORGET YOUR FURRY FRIEND’S NEEDS AT PET WANTS
Forgetting about ‘man’s best friend’ isn’t going to go over well. Consider getting some pet food delivered or pop in and grab your pup or kitty a little treat — they deserve it!

7) DIVE INTO A DELICIOUS PANINI (AND MAYBE A GLASS OF WINE) AT GRASSROOTS & VINE
Panini’s are basically super grown up grilled cheese sandwiches...which means you’re allowed to have one with a glass of wine. It’s cool being an adult!

8) GET SOME PAD THAI FROM NEW GARDEN
With a Japanese menu and a Chinese menu, you’ll have so many choices. It’s also the only place in Fort Thomas you can get sushi. Those spring rolls are pretty darn good!

9) A RELAXING WALK AT TOWER PARK
Maybe you need to unwind and take in some nature. Thankfully, being outside adheres to the coronavirus guidelines of social distancing and staying ‘6 feet apart’. Get your walk on!
