Cold Spring Announces Cram the Cruiser in Support of Extended Food Drive

Cold Spring residents Sandy Patton (l) and Nancy Bay (r) give the thumbs up as they drop off donations they collected in their Springside condo community for the city's food drive.

The city of Cold Spring has extended its Food Drive to help support area residents during the COVID-19 crisis. The city has been collecting food items, and Mayor Angelo Penque announced earlier this week the drive would be extended to continue until further notice.

Call Ashley Barlow for all your legal needs. 859-781-5777. This is an advertisement.

The Cold Spring Police Department is joining the drive with a Cram the Cruiser event to be held Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Crossroads Krogers, 375 Crossroads Boulevard in Cold Spring. An officer will be on hand to collect nonperishable items for the drive.

Food also can be donated Monday through Thursday, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the city building, 5694 East Alexandria Pike, in the Community Room. Participants can drive around to the back of the building for assistance. Please call the city building if you have any questions at 859-441-9604.
