Fort Thomas Independent Schools announced via the FTIS Facebook page on Monday that in-person classes will be suspended through the end of the school year.
NTI (also known as 'non-traditional instruction') will continue through May. The full statement from Superintendent Dr. Karen Cheser is below;
Parents,
In a conference call today with Kentucky superintendents, Governor Beshear shared that he has further extended the closure of school buildings through the end of the school year.
With the recommendation NOT to return to our campuses, we will continue our NTI days through May. We will be sharing additional information in the days and weeks ahead about the impact of various end of year activities.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teachers if you have any questions regarding assignments in Seesaw or Schoology. You also can refer to our NTI website for further resources that you may need.
Sincerely,
Dr. Karen Cheser - Superintendent
