A severe storm Wednesday night caused quite a bit of damage throughout Campbell County and throughout all of Greater Cincinnati.
The Alexandria Police Department have temporarily shut down US27 at Poplar ridge due to damage to the utility poles in front of Lou Lou's Cafe at Spare-Time.
Per the Alexandria Police Facebook page, "Vehicles are being rerouted through Poplar Ridge southbound and the entrance to The Bridge Church/Tractor Supply northbound. If you are able to take an alternate route please do so until further notice. Utility companies are currently working on fixing the damage but this will likely take several hours."
If you are experiencing any storm-related issues near your home, call dispatch at 859-292-3622.

Thankfully, the damage should be repaired by this evening, per the Lou Lou's Cafe at Spare-Time Facebook Page; "Some pictures from the weather last night! As stated earlier we are closed today due to the severe weather that occurred last night, Duke energy said it should be fixed sometime this evening. We are so thankful for all the linemen and electric companies working hard to make sure everyone has power again. We will be doing orders through messenger for today. If you would like to place an order for the weekend just message us! We will keep you updated as soon as we know."
