A recent statement from local farmer Mary Ann Neltner outlined the market's decision. "Farmers Markets are an essential business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. COVID-19 Safety Guidelines will be followed. Guidelines include, spaced set-up for farmers, directional instructions for entrance/exit, hand washing station at entrance area, marked waiting spots to maintain Social Distancing, and limitations per farmer selling sites."
Mary Ann also outlined what produce would be available. "Produce available for sale from last week’s Farmers Market: Beets, cabbage, cucumbers, kale, collards, green and red candy apple onions, tomatoes, basil, garlic, yellow squash, and more! Hopefully, baked goods and soaps will also be available this week. Items are subject to change based on what is available in the fields."
The Campbell County Farmers Market is located along Monmouth Street in the 700-block in the parking lot near the Pepper Pod restaurant.
