Kenton County Middle School Teacher, Dayton Resident Arrested, Charged with Crimes Involving Minor

Jason Schwartz of Dayton, Ky, is facing multiple charges for child sex crimes per Campbell County Police.

A 32-year old Dayton man, who is also a middle school teacher at Kenton County's Woodland Middle School, was arrested over the weekend for his alleged involvement in child sex crimes.

Jason Schwartz is facing the following charges per Campbell County Police;
- Sodomy 1st Degree
- Sodomy 1st Degree (under the age of 12 years old)
- Use of a minor in a sexual performance

Schwartz is currently listed on the Kenton County Schools website as the athletic director and teacher for Woodland Middle School.

According to the press release, Schwartz was arrested by Campbell County police at the request of the Boone County Sheriff's Office in reference to video footage they received which appears to depict the crime. Additional investigation by Campbell County Police confirmed the identities of both the juvenile victim and the suspect.

The investigation determined that the crimes had been committed over the span of nearly seven years with the last occurring about 8 years ago.
