Real estate firm expands, opens office in Fort Thomas

Weichert, Realtors® – R.E. 1790 has expanded its brokerage with the opening of an Fort Thomas, Kentucky. The company joined the Weichert® national franchise network earlier this year with its first office in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Weichert, Realtors® – R.E. 1970 is run by broker/owner Kellie Barter, a 19-year real estate veteran. The company, which opened its doors in April of 2020 in Cincinnati, opened the company’s second office, located at 33 N. Fort Thomas Avenue, occupying space in Schone Kitchen Design building in the city's Central Business District. 

"I am so excited to begin this new journey right in center of the central business district of Fort Thomas," said Jessica Hurley, Vice President of Northern Kentucky operations for Weichert Realtors. Hurley, who has a son at Highlands Middle School, said she's excited to expand the brand in Northern Kentucky.  

"Fort Thomas has been my home and I love it here. We have a very special community full of friendly neighbors that have a lot of pride it is a pleasure to be a part of it."

With the announcement, Weichert, Realtors® – R.E. 1970 becomes the first Weichert office in Campbell County, Kentucky, and the 13th office in the state.

In addition to Barter and Hurley, the Fort Thomas office includes Lindsay Heiert, Matt Bremer, Sarah Thornton, Cathy DiBiagio and Matt Dwyer.
