A new specialized medical office building is in the initial planning stages for the property at the corner of Highland Country Club Drive and US 27 in Fort Thomas.
Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine has eight orthopaedic care locations in the Cincinnati area. The Fort Thomas location would be the second one in Northern Kentucky, joining an orthopaedic urgent care facility in Erlanger.
The developer, Ashley Properties, is expected to present a Stage One Development Plan for the building at a public hearing before the Fort Thomas Planning Commission. The hearing is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, at the Tower Park Mess Hall (Community Center).
The building will be single-story and about 8,000 square feet on the 1.9-acre parcel of land at the site. If approved, work would begin as soon as possible this month with an anticipated completion date of December 2021.
Beacon Orthopaedics is a multi-physician practice providing orthopaedic care including sports medicine, general orthopaedic surgery, total joint replacements arthroscopic surgery, spine medicine and surgery and sports medicine. For more on the company, see the Beacon Orthopaedics website.
Again, the public hearing is scheduled for March 17 at 7 p.m. at the Tower Park Mess Hall, 801 Cochran Avenue in Fort Thomas.
