|Highlands Faces Holy Cross in Final Game of Doc Morris Invitational|

The undefeated Louisville Trinity Shamrocks (12-0) baseball team came to Fort Thomas on Friday for the Doc Morris Invitational and left with another run-ruling 13-2 over the Highlands Bluebirds (5-5) in six innings.
The Bluebirds batted just .238 (5-for-21) in this game compared to .467 (14-for-30) for the Shamrocks. Junior Camden McAtee had a two-run double in the bottom of the fourth scoring senior Jake Gulley and junior Nick Robinson for the only two Highlands runs.
Senior Owen Carris started the game for the Bluebirds and pitched into the fifth inning. Junior Abe Hils took over with one out in the fifth. Carris struck out five and Hils two.
Trinity has beaten Highlands twice this year. The Shamrocks came to Fort Thomas on March 30 and left with a 12-0 decision in five innings.
Highlands takes on the Covington Holy Cross Indians (3-9) on Saturday at Meinken Field in Covington. Game time is 3 p.m.
