|Tigers Remain Undefeated with Two-Run Bottom of Seventh|

The Highlands Bluebirds softball team (8-1 overall) was not able to play any of the three games at North Oldham on Saturday.
The Bluebirds made it through the first two outs in the top of the first inning against Henry County before the game was called.
Highlands travels to Conner on Tuesday. Game time is 5 p.m.
Louisville St. Xavier 4, Highlands 3:
The Bluebirds (3-3) led the undefeated Tigers (9-0), 3-2 going into the seventh inning, but could not hold on for the road victory.
Highlands batted .240 (6-for-25) compared to .182 (4-for-22) for St. Xavier. The Tigers also committed two errors and left eight on base compared to one error and six left on base for the Bluebirds. But St. Xavier drew five walks compared to one for Highlands.
Highlands had one multi-base hit. It came when junior Jack Schneider doubled.
Senior Owen Carris started the game throwing the first five innings. Carris struck out four, walked two and allowed two earned runs and a hit. Junior Drew Hack pitched the final two taking the loss.
Highlands travels to Covington Holmes (1-5) on Monday. Game time is 5 p.m.
