Fort Thomas Farmers Market welcomes new market manager and moves outdoors

The Fort Thomas Farmers Market announced today that is has hired Tiffany Tomeo as the new Market Manager.

With over ten years of experience with small businesses and local markets, she believes that shopping locally is vital to building thriving communities.  She said she is passionate about creating a place where farmers, producers, and shoppers can come together to support each other, fueling both commerce and education. She said in her spare time, you can find her digging in the garden or spending time with her family. 

The Market would like to express the utmost gratitude to Leigh Gorman, outgoing Market Manager, for her tireless dedication, work and service to the Market.  Under her leadership the Market experienced exponential growth in the quality and variety of products offered, making it a favorite among our customers and community. 

The 2021 Outdoor Summer Market Season will begin on Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021 outside the Market’s permanent home, the Mess Hall, located in Tower Park. The outdoor season will run June through September, with the market opening at 3:00 p.m. and closing at 7:00 p.m. The Fort Thomas Farmers' Market now operates nine months of the year, both inside and outside the Mess Hall and will move indoors again October  – Mid-December 2021.

Covid-19 Updates 

With the Market moving outdoors, along with the new CDC guidelines, our Governor has stated that masks are no longer required for groups of 1,000 or less.
