The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 6 reported upcoming projects that may affect traffic as early as this Friday. Motorists should be aware of possible delays or lane closures on the following projects:

• I-275 Eastbound Ramp to KY 9 (AA Highway) 77 milepost – The I-275 eastbound ramp to KY 9 (AA Highway) in Wilder, KY will be partially closed for a concrete repair project. One lane will remain open. The work will start Friday, June 4 at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Monday morning, June 7. Motorists should be aware of crews and equipment. Expect delays.
• KY 9 (AA Highway) Southbound ramp to U.S. 27 – The KY 9 (AA Highway) southbound ramp to U.S. 27 in Cold Spring, KY will be CLOSED for a concrete repair project. The closure will start Friday, June 4 at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Monday morning, June 7. Motorists should use KY 9 (AA Highway) to KY 709 (East Alexandria Connector Road) as a detour.
U.S. 27 (8.8 – 10.5 mile-marker) - A pavement repair project on US 27 (Alexandria Pike) will resume Monday, June 7. A single lane closure will be in place. Concrete slabs will be removed and replaced between KY 536 and Washington Street. Work will start on the northbound side then switch to the southbound. Expect delays and work is weather dependent.
U.S. 27 (17.1 – 19.3 mile-marker/ 0 - 1 mile-marker) – A safety improvement project will begin on U.S. 27 is in progress. Construction will focus on three areas: the KY 177 intersection (17.1-17.5 marker ) going northbound to just past KY 3162 (Lock Road) intersection, the Boss Dunaway Road intersection (19 milpost) in northern Pendleton County and the intersection of Plum Creek Church Road (1 milepost) in southern Campbell County. Motorists should be aware of crews and lanes closures in the work zone areas.
