Trader Joe's opens in Crestview Hills on Friday, first in area to sell liquor

Northern Kentucky's first Trader Joe's is coming to Crestview Hills this months and according to a press release, will be the first  Trader Joe's in the Cincinnati area that sells liquor, in addition to beer and wine.


The store is known for groceries outside the big brand labels.

The new Trader Joe's will feature the artwork of local landmarks and attractions, including the Roebling Suspension Bridge, Newport Aquarium, Big Bone Lick State Park and the Florence Water Tower.

On July 16, there will be a grand opening ceremony that starts at 7:55 a.m. The celebration will continue through the day with live music.

Trader Joe's first Cincinnati-area store is on Montgomery Road in the Kenwood shopping area.

The new Trader Joe's is located at 2780 Dixie Highway
