Veterinary Medical Centers wins First Place in parade

Veterinary Medical Center of Fort Thomas

In case you missed it, the Veterinary Medical Center of Fort Thomas (located at 2000 Memorial Parkway) snagged first place in the Fort Thomas Independence Day parade last month. The center won first place for "Best Representation of Theme".

This year the theme was the "Roaring Twenties again" and the center decked out its float in sparkling red, white and blue streamers. Those who marched with the float wore red, white and blue from head to toe and even walked 'invisible dogs' on leashes. Some marchers wore tutus, fun glasses and hats, along with props that said "Let Freedom ROAR!"

The center won first place for "Best Representation of Theme".

And, of course, the float wouldn't be complete without a tiger jumping through the hoops (a stuffed tiger, of course).
