The City of Bellevue is getting a new, local seafood restaurant to replace Joe's Crab Shack.

Enson Harbor will fill the void that Joe's Crab Shack, after closing in May of 2020. Located at 25 Fairfield Ave, the city of Bellevue owns the land where the restaurant is located. The city took ownership of the restaurant building itself as well as the land, which pays Bellevue $110,000 annually. Joe's Crab Shack signed over the structure when they closed. They had originally opened in 2002.

Enson Harbor is owned by the Cincinnati-based Enson Group, a food distributor and wholesaler headquartered in Lockland.

There will be room for 250 people in the restaurant with views of the river, just like at Joe's Crab Shack.

This story will be updated.
