The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber) has honored the Northern Kentucky Area Development District (NKADD) with a Community Award sponsored by Central Bank.

The NKY Chamber Community Award is given out to individuals, businesses or organizations throughout the Northern Kentucky region that have made a positive difference in our community. NKADD is a collaboration of local leaders and staff educating and empowering communities by implementing quality services for aging populations, community development, human services and workforce development.

40 years in the business! Home building, room additions, deck building, roofing, structural work, concrete, painting. (513) 205-4020

President and CEO of St. Elizabeth Healthcare and Chair of the NKY Chamber Board of Directors, Garren Colvin, presented Lisa Cooper of NKADD with the Community Award in celebration of its 50th anniversary. With 15 Area Development Districts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the NKADD’s collaborative approach to solving regional challenges is a model for the rest of the state.

"We are proud to be presenting the NKY Community Award to a key Northern Kentucky institution that has had a profound impact on our daily lives," said Colvin. "The work that NKADD does supporting things like aging services, community development, human services and especially workforce development, is critical to our quality of life and our collective success. This work happens mostly behind the scenes without fanfare or recognition, so in honor of their 50-year anniversary, we want to recognize the key role that they play in our region and share our sincere appreciation for all that they do."
