Most recently, Rose is known for competing on NBC’s The Voice, where she had the chance to work with the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Ed Sheeran, Blake Shelton, Ariana Grande and John Legend. In the competition-style singing show, she advanced to the knockout stages, performing for over seven million television viewers weekly.

Kinsey grew up in Louisville, but eventually moved to Highland Heights where she attended NKU. While there, she connected with Joe Seiter (Kait and the California Kings) and his brother Mick Seiter (Borderline 360) to form the Kinsey Rose band.

The band played all over the Cincinnati area, including annual shows at Taste of Cincinnati, Goettafest and for the Cincinnati Reds. After a few years of touring, Kinsey decided it was time to pack her bags and live out her dream of being a songwriter in Nashville.
